Is SwiftPDF really 100% free?
Yes. Every tool on this site is free with no signup, no daily task limits, no watermarks and no locked features. There is no premium tier because there is nothing to pay for — the tools run entirely in your browser.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Your files never leave your device. Every tool processes PDFs and images locally in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, stored or seen by anyone else — which also means your documents stay private by design.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
Neither. SwiftPDF works in any modern web browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Open a tool, drop your files in, and download the result.
Is there a file size or page limit?
Limits depend on your device's memory rather than our servers. Most files work instantly. For very large documents (over ~200 pages) some tools will warn you that processing may take a while — your files are never at risk, the tool simply takes longer.
Will merging or reordering my PDF reduce its quality?
No. Merge, split, reorder, rotate and delete rebuild your PDF from the original pages without touching their content, so quality is fully preserved. Compression intentionally re-renders pages to shrink file size, which trades some quality for a smaller file — you choose the level.
